I strayed—by accident, or perhaps fate—into a sealed-off forbidden zone. There, half-hidden among the trees, stood a weathered wooden cabin and a towering obelisk etched with symbols no living soul should recognize.
No one had ever spoken of that place.
When I returned, something was... wrong. People looked the same, but they weren’t. Their eyes lingered too long. Their smiles held no warmth.
Am I the one who’s changed?
Or is the truth—ancient and watching—finally beginning to surface?"
